EQ Sleep is the Belgian sleep company behind the brands Equilli and Sleepwave. We combine scientific knowledge of sleep and ergonomics with data, product development and manufacturing expertise, to build sleep solutions that better match what different people need during the night.

No two people sleep exactly the same way. Body shape, sleeping position and behaviour during the night all help determine the support and comfort someone needs. That belief led us to develop two complementary brands.
Premium ergonomic sleep comfort, individually matched to your body. Using the scientifically grounded Sleep Scan, we determine the support you need at the shoulders, waist and hips. Your mattress is then individually composed and custom-made in our workshop in Belgium.

Sleepwave starts from how you sleep. Based on more than 50,000 measurements, we developed three different mattress types, each optimised for a different sleep profile. Your favourite sleeping position, and how often you change position during the night, help determine which type suits you best.

EQ Sleep has its roots in the doctoral research of founder Vincent Verhaert into sleep ergonomics and the way a mattress supports the human body.
That scientific foundation gave rise to Equilli in 2014: a sleep concept that doesn't start from standard firmness levels, but from the specific support every body needs.
What began as research grew into its own methodology, production in Belgium, and today, two sleep brands, each with its own approach. Science, data and product development still form the basis of everything we do at EQ Sleep.

Over the years, we've gathered data from more than 50,000 measurements. That data helps us better understand how body shape, sleeping position, movement and support relate to one another. We recognise patterns, test insights, and use that knowledge to keep developing our sleep concepts further.

That's why we combine product development with our own manufacturing expertise in Belgium. From analysis and prototyping to assembly and finishing, we keep testing, refining and improving our products.
